The Rocher Mistral park is located in the small village of La Barben. It is located in a unique natural setting around the castle of La Barben. In the heart of the Bouches-du-Rhône region and close to the La Barben Zoo, the park is a showcase for the history and heritage of Provence. A few kilometres from the Luberon and the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, the Vaucluse and the Var, the Rocher Mistral park is the ideal place to visit Provence, on holiday and with your family.
A park to visit near the zoo of La Barben
La Barben Zoo is one of the most famous in France. With 300,000 visitors per year, it is the second most visited site in the Bouches-du-Rhône. You can admire 700 animals and 130 different species. A family business since its creation in 1969, La Barben Zoo is a true place of preservation of the world’s fauna: it is the 5th French zoo to join the United for Biodiversity global coalition.
Access to the Rocher Mistral park and its car park is only possible via the D572/Route de Saint-Cannat. The D22/Route du château is strictly reserved for the inhabitants of La Barben: a terminal with a pass has been installed.

Coming to the park from Aix-en-Provence
By motorway: 30min
From the city of Aix-en-Provence, take the A8/E80 motorway towards Salon-de-Provence/Avignon/Nîmes/La Fare-les-Oliviers. Continue on the A8 and take the E80/A54 exit towards Salon-de-Provence/Arles/Nîmes/Barcelona. Take exit 15 towards Pélissanne, then follow Pélissanne to Pélissanne. Then follow La Barben and Château de La Barben/Parc Zoologique.
